Southern Illinois has been the inspiration for regional artists for generations. Artspace 304 is hosting an exhibit for local artists to share their creations.
Nature, a Juried Exhibition, features 29 artists who submitted photography, painting, ceramics, textile and collage. The exhibit, captures the beauty of Southern Illinois such as the grand views of Inspiration Point, secluded sights of Little Grand Canyon, and seasonal beauty of rolling farm lands. The opening reception is tomorrow, March 10th from 5-7pm when the Juror will award artists on Best in Show, Second and Third place.
The exhibit will remain in the Main Gallery at Artspace 304 in Carbondale until April 14th for viewing during business hours. Artspace 304 is open Wednesday through Saturday from 12-5 pm.
