In recognition of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Community Health and Emergency Services, Inc, (CHESI) announces the availability of new 3D Mammography Screening services for affordable high-quality breast cancer screenings and exams, at little to no cost to patients. A 3D Mammogram is considered more accurate and results in fewer false positive results than 2D Mammography alone. It is especially helpful for people with dense breast tissue, a family history of breast cancer, or other risk factors.
CHESI serves the southern seven counties as the lead agency for the Illinois Breast Cancer and Cervical Care Program which provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings, diagnostics, and other services to women, with or without insurance.

The 3D Mammography Unit is in the Cairo Diagnostic Center, located at 13289 Kessler Road in Cairo, Illinois. Appointments can be scheduled by calling CHESI at 1-877-MYCHESI. Walk in appointments are also welcome.
