Murder Suspect Arrested in Central IL Mass Murder

Logan County, IL – Authorities in central Illinois have made an arrest in the mass murder of a family a week and a half ago in Logan County.

Sheriff Steve Nichols says 30-year-old Christopher Harris of McLean County was arrested yesterday (Thur) afternoon in Lincoln. He's accused of murder in the beating deaths of 46 year old "Rick" Gee, 39-year old Ruth Gee, 16 year old Justina Constant, 14 year old Dillen Constant, and 11 year old Austin Gee, the couple's 3-year-old daughter survived the attack and is being treated at a Peoria hospital.

Authorities say there could be additional arrests.
