Cape Girardeau, MO – Work is almost complete on the Southeast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and Treatment.
The center is currently conducting evaluations and accepting diagnostic referrals in a temporary location and is expected to open its doors at the new facility on January 4.
Director Connie Hebert says, though the center is geared toward serving Southeast Missouri, they will accept anyone willing to drive to their facility.
The $2.6 million facility in Cape Girardeau will offer behavior, speech, and language therapy and will have 14 therapy rooms.
Appointments can be made with the center by calling 573-986-4985.
