After a sold-out premiere, Carbondale United has added a second screening of its new documentary The Struggle Is Not Over for Monday, June 30 at 6 p.m. at its office on 309 E. Jackson Street.
The film, funded by Healing Illinois, explores racial and social justice activism in Southern Illinois, featuring interviews with local changemakers, historians, and community leaders.
Saturday’s premiere will include dinner, door prizes, community awards, and music. A waitlist is available for that event, while limited seats remain for Monday.
