Sheriff Candidate Warns of Motorcycle Gang Locating in Southern Illinois

By Julie Santen

Marion, IL – The republican candidate for Williamson County Sheriff says he is standing strong for the county he wants to serve.

Dennis Presley says he does not support The Outlaws Motorcycle Club forming a new chapter in Williamson County. He says the group is known as an organized criminal enterprise and for its gang-like acts.

Presley says he believes the Outlaws are no different than any other gang.

Presley says if he is becomes sheriff, he would try to make it undesirable for the Outlaws to locate in Williamson County.

Presley says his opposition to the Outlaws does not mean he is against motorcycle clubs and motorcycle riders in general.
