Cairo, IL – A southern Illinois community health provider is receiving federal funds to expand its operation.
Community Health and Emergency Services Incorporated in Cairo has been awarded a grant worth over Five Million Dollars from the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The funds will be used to address major construction and renovation needs at the facility and to expand access to quality health care in deep southern Illinois.
