Salem, IL – In Marion County...

With 29 percent turnout, Voters in Salem elected a new mayor. Long-time Mayor Leonard Ferguson lost his re-election bid to John Raymer.

Voters also returned Dave Black to the Salem City Council along with Royce Bringwald who defeated incumbent council member Tom Carr.
