A man is sentenced to more than 50 years in prison on a child sexual assault conviction

A man has been sentenced to 55 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child.

The Pulaski County State’s Attorney reports a jury convicted 39-year-old Jared Wade Hinman Sr. in May on two counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child and one count of Criminal Sexual Assault.

Hinman was arrested in April 2021 following an investigation by Illinois State Police with the assistance of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office in Benton, Kentucky.
