Journey back Inside The Blanket Fort as we preview an upcoming event on the SIU Carbondale campus.

March 6th in Morris Library’s Guyon Auditorium, SIU President Emeritus Glenn Poshard and coauthor Carl Walworth will speak about their recently published book, Son of Southern Illinois: Glenn Poshard’s Life in Politics and Education. The book details the entirety of Poshard’s life and encompasses many themes important to Southern Illinois and SIU.

Hear, first hand, as they discuss the book and take audience questions. The event will open with the authors discussing their book and taking audience questions at 5:00 p.m. on The catered reception, which will also feature a book sale and signing, will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the library’s first-floor rotunda.
