Southern Illinois University will play host to a second screening of a new documentary on World War II Prisoners of War.
Jan Thompson's "Never The Same: The Prisoner of War Story" is scheduled for a second screening Tuesday night at 6pm.
Documentary Narrator Loretta Swit - perhaps best known for her role on the TV show MASH - says she was happy to lend her voice to the film.
"I've met some people - young people - who don't know what Corregidor is. That's not right. That's a part of our history, and it's terribly important, and they should know. They should know and they should care."
Swit says too many WWII veterans are passing away, taking their stories with them to the grave. She says this documentary helps keep their bravery and sacrifice alive.
