Saluki Volleyball Head Coach Fired

SIU volleyball head coach Kari Thompson has been fired.

In two seasons with the Salukis, Thompson compiled an 11-49 overall record...including six wins in Missouri Valley Conference play.
A search for Thompson's successor will begin immediately, according to SIU Director of Athletics Jerry Kill.

Assistant coach Lea Hartigan will stay on to assist with the transition.
