The SIU women's soccer team is set to begin its inaugural season next year.
Now, we know when the team's first home match will be.
Head Coach Grant Williams says the Salukis will host SEMO on Saturday, August 17, 2019.
The Salukis will join the Missouri Valley Conference in 2020. Williams doesn't anticipate there being many Valley opponents, if any at all, on the Salukis schedule in 2019.
SIU announced it was adding women's soccer to its athletics line-up in January of this year.
