The John A. Logan College Athletic Department has announced some coaching hires with ties to the SIU system.

Legendary former Saluki softball head coach is Logan's new volunteer assistant coach. Blaylock led SIU for 23 seasons and won 751 games before stepping aside in 2022.

Hayley Palm is a new assistant softball coach. She is an alumnus of John A Logan College, where broke the single season home run record, as well as owning the the All-Time record. Palm went on to play at SIUE for her final year.

Samantha Sambursky as the new Head Women's Golf Coach at Logan.

Sambursky was a standout golfer during her college years at SIU-Carbondale and was an integral part of the 2007 MVC Conference Championship team.

Following her collegiate career, Sambursky passed the PGA players test and served as the Head Professional at Jackson County Country Club.
