After a two year hiatus the Southern Illinois Made Expo returns October 15th and 16th.
COVID-19 forced the last two Southern Illinois Made Expo to postponed, but it returns in October.
State Senator Dale Fowler and the Southern Illinois Chambers of Commerce started the expo in 2018 as a way to encourage people to shop local and showcase what the region has to offer.
Angela Bailey is the manager of the Chocolate Factory in Golconda and says they’ve participated every year.
“We just think that this is a great way to showcase any local business, and that's kind of what we want to do. We always want to help any business that’s starting anyone to starting a business. We want to try to help them. And we went to showcase ours.”
Vendor registration ends September 14th.
