On Saturday April 27th from 11:00am to 1:00pm, the Jackson County State’s Attorney's Office and the City of Carbondale will host a Community Healing Picnic at the Town Square Pavilion. In recognition of 2024 National Crime Victim’s Rights Week theme (How would you help?), community members are invited to come together to learn about hope for survivors through shared stories and invited speakers. Attendees will engage in community healing while enjoying live music by Shaad Schubert and a free community meal by L Hill Catering.
