The Carbondale Police Department has partnered with Saluki Athletics this holiday season to collect NEW coats for boys and girls, ages 1-10.

The donated coats will benefit the children served by the Carbondale Police Department Community Christmas Store, which provides gifts and toys at reduced costs to families of 150 children from at-risk or under-privileged families residing in Carbondale.

New coats will be collected at all home men's and women's Saluki basketball games, the Carbondale Police Department and the Carbondale Civic Center.

Donations can also be made during the tree lighting ceremony on November 30 at the Town Square Pavilion.

The deadline for donations will be December 8th.
