An all-inclusive playground that has been years in the planning held its grand opening Monday in Anna.
The facility called Hadley’s Haven is in remembrance and honor of Hadley Chase Ashby.
She was born in April 2016 with a birth defect, and complications from surgery left her with multiple disabilities, including cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, and epilepsy.
Hadley lived until December 2017, when she had a catastrophic shunt failure and passed away.
Shortly after Hadley's passing, her mother decided to honor her little girl by building a playground, where all kids could play no matter their abilities.
Hadley's Haven opened for play a few weeks ago.
