Country Star Jake Owen Set to Headline Du Quoin State Fair Grandstand

DU QUOIN, IL – Jake Owen will take the stage at the Du Quoin State Fair Grandstand on Friday, August 29. The country music staple has 10 No.1 hit singles and more than 2.5 billion U.S. on-demand streams.

“We are committed to a diverse lineup of Grandstand acts,” said Jerry Costello II, Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture. “Country artists are a crowd favorite in southern Illinois, and we are excited to bring Jake Owen to the Du Quoin State Fair.”

Owen is a country music mainstay with a career boasting a collection of gold and platinum records. The chart-topping superstar and ACM award winner is signatured by his laid-back style and hit recordings such as “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” “Beachin’,” “Anywhere With You,” “Alone With You” and “The One That Got Away."

The recording artist, powerhouse entertainer and actor has released nine albums, headlined tours globally and appeared in the movie Our Friend (2019).

Wrapping his 2024 performance schedule, Owen performed 30 show dates as a member of The Heartbreak on The Map Tour (with Dan + Shay).

“Jake Owen gives his all during his performances, and the crowd responds by singing along with their favorite hit songs,” said Du Quoin State Fair Manager Luke Davison. “This is going to be an iconic summer concert at the Du Quoin State Fair.”

Tickets for the Jake Owen concert will be available Friday, January 31 beginning at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. The Du Quoin State Fair runs from August 22 - September 1. To learn more, visit dsf.illinois.gov/.
