Poplar Camp Beach shifting to weekends only to end the 2025 season

Poplar Camp Beach at Cedar Lake is preparing to limit its days of operation for the 2025 season.

Starting this Sunday, August 10 and running through Saturday, August 16 will be the last week the beach is open on the weekdays. After next week, Poplar Camp Beach will be open on the weekends only, through Labor Day Weekend. Closing Day will be on Labor Day, Monday, September 1.

The Cedar Lake beach will be open at its regular hours of operation, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on these days.
