If you’re considering a career in law enforcement…Illinois Conservation Police are hiring.
You may not realize it, but State Department of Natural Resources spokesperson Rachel Torbert says they have their own police unit, which is tasked with several duties.
"Our officers patrol our public lands, our state sites. They check in with hunters and fishermen to insure they have the proper licensing and the proper tags for hunting, for fishing. They patrol out waters and make sure our boaters are safe."
The deadline to apply is May 31st.
