The Marion Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in a home invasion.

Early Friday evening, the Marion Police Department received a 911 call reporting that an unknown man, armed with a knife, had entered a residence on Rolling Acres Drive. He assaulted and battered a woman inside the residence. The woman sustained minor injuries during the incident. The suspect fled the scene before the officers arrived.

The suspect remains unidentified, and officers urge anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or has any information related to the incident, to call the Marion Police Department at 618-993-2124.
