Two people have been arrested following a significant arson and property damage incident at McKinney Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in the Lake of Egypt area.

On July 24, Deputies responded to the church after discovering multiple broken windows, fire damage, and other destruction inside the building. Damage is estimated to exceed $300,000.

Through evidence collected at the scene and a follow-up investigation, detectives identified two suspects: Ethan Lam and Chad Krueger.

A Williamson County Grand Jury convened and indicted Lam and Krueger for Place of Worship Arson and Criminal Damage to Property.
