The City of Carbondale is beginning a nationwide search for a new City Manager.
Chief of Police Stan Reno is currently serving on an interim basis following the departure of Gary Williams as City Manager almost six months ago.
Applicants need to submit a resume, cover letter and six work-related references. A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration or similar field is required. Having a Master's Degree is preferred. Applicants must have a minimum of five years experience in executive level management in local government or a similar environment.
City officials say the first review of resumes will take place on October 11.
