12th district incumbent U.S. Representative Mike Bost says his 2024 re-election campaign has been endorsed by the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge.
Illinois FOP State Lodge President Chris Southwood said in a written statement that the Murphysboro republican has demonstrated unwavering support for law enforcement.
In a written release, Bost said he will always back law enforcement in Congress.
Former Illinois lawmaker and gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey is challenging Bost in the GOP primary.
The primary election is set for March 19.
