12th District Congressman Mike Bost has announced his campaign has raised over $468,000 in the final quarter of 2023 and has a war chest of over $1.35 million cash-on-hand.
The Murphysboro republican says his conservative message is getting through to southern Illinois republicans and the momentum continues to grow.
Bost -- the incumbent in the 12th congressional district -- is being challenged in the GOP primary by former Illinois state lawmaker and gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey.
The Illinois primary election is March 19.
The Illinois State Board of Elections says early voting will begin in early February, with additional sites coming online approximately two weeks prior to the election.
