State Senator Dale Fowler (R-Harrisburg) has been honored with the title of “Champion of Manufacturing” by the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA), a recognition that underscores his significant contributions to supporting Illinois’ manufacturing sector.
The award is based on the IMA’s 2024 Legislative Report Card, which evaluates lawmakers on their voting records related to key legislation impacting the manufacturing industry.
Senator Fowler achieved an impressive 85 percent voting record, reflecting his unwavering commitment to policies that benefit manufacturers and bolster the state’s economy.
In accepting the award, Fowler emphasized the importance of a robust manufacturing sector, stating, “A strong manufacturing sector helps drive our economy, creating jobs and opportunities for families across the state and Southern Illinois.
I am proud to have supported our manufacturers and the thousands of employees in the industry.”
The IMA’s recognition highlights Fowler’s role in advancing legislative measures that support job creation, economic growth, and the overall health of Illinois’ manufacturing community.
