Several Illinois Legislators gathered in Marion recently, along with representatives from the Illinois State Police and the Illinois Department of Transportation to kick off the 2019 Road Construction Season.
One by one, the officials spoke of the long-run benefits that the state will receive once the long-needed I-57 Expansion Project is completed. They also stressed to the driving public, how important it is to slow down and pay attention when you see construction zones.
