A 14-year-old from Vienna has admitted to sending a social media post threatening the Pope County School District.

The Pope County Sheriff's Department says both school districts were searched and found to be secure.
There was a police presence in the Pope County Schools Monday. Vienna High School already has an on duty school resource officer during the regular school day.

At this point, authorities feel the concern has been addressed. Reports will be submitted to the Pope County States Attorney for review.
