Phase two of completing the full restoration of the Bald Knob Cross of Peace is getting underway.
In 2010, the transitional Board of Directors and others, set a long-term goal with a two-phase plan to rebuild and restore the cross after years of deterioration.
The Board now reports it's starting the expansion of the grounds this summer.
This phase of the project will include seating around the cross, a walking path, and much more. More details will be coming soon.
