UPDATE: Both runaways from Carbondale have been found safe.

The Carbondale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a pair of runaways.

Officers say 12-year-old Naajuana Childress of Carbondale was last seen on Tuesday in the 300 block East Birch Street in Carbondale.

Childress is described as 5’01” tall, weighing 170 pounds, with black and gold hair and brown eyes.

Childress was last seen wearing an olive colored jacket and Minnie Mouse pajama pants.

Police are also searching for 16-year-old Synncere Payton, who was last seen on the morning of October 5 in the 400 block of North Brush Street in Carbondale.

Payton is described as 5’01” tall, weighing 100 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. The teen was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jogger-style pajamas.
