One person sustained minor injuries in a residential fire early Wednesday morning in Marion.
The Marion Fire Department reports firefighters were dispatched to 304 East Marion Street shortly after 2 a.m. They learned someone was trapped on the second floor of the home.
Firefighters quickly removed the victim and got the fire under control within about 45 minutes. Crews were on the scene for about four hours.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, treated for minor injuries and released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
