A Carbondale woman suffered serious injuries in a single vehicle crash early Monday morning on Interstate 55 in southeast Missouri.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 65-year-old Brenda Cox was taken to an area hospital after she lost control of her vehicle at around 7 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-55 in New Madrid County.
Troopers say Cox's vehicle ran off the road and overturned after striking a cable barrier.
