The public is invited to a discussion about achieving reliable internet service across Southern Illinois and the state.
The Illinois Broadband Lab, The Illinois Department of Commerce, and Economic Opportunity Office of Broadband are all working with SIU Carbondale to host the event.
Insights on the Illinois State Digital Equity Plan and the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment Program will be presented. The program also talks about regional broadband findings and engagement initiatives including programs like Connect Illinois and Broadband Breakthrough.
The event encourages attendees to share their thoughts on digital advancements in the region.
