Paducah Quilt Murals Inc (PQMI) invites you to a ceremony celebrating the third mural in the Quilt City USA Murals series. on Thursday, April 24, at 4 pm at 415 Park Street, at the floodwall adjacent to the Carroll Convention Center. The mural features “The Cheyenne Has Gone,” a denim on denim textile work. It features a former New York railroad car-style diner and soda fountain bar that closed in 2008 to make room for a nine-story condominium. April 26th -The Great Cardboard Boat Regatta-Campus Lake. The boats are divided into 4 classes, mechanical powered, manual paddle, kids and instant boats made that morning. Trophies will be given out in each class as well as one for most spectacular sinking, best use of cardboard, and best team boat. Registration starts at 10am and the first race starts at 1.
