On this day in 1939 The Wizard of Oz, an American musical fantasy film adaptation of L. Frank Baum's book, premieres at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

OBSERVATION TIMES:
-Sunday, Aug 17, 9pm - 10:30pm

Regular observations are held on the Astronomy Observation Deck located just above the School of Physics office on the A-wing roof of the Neckers building. Follow signs from Neckers 456 up the southwest stairs.
