SIU Athletics

The SIU men's basketball team has added transfer guard Ali Dibba from Abilene Christian.

Last season, the 6'4" native of Sweden led the team in scoring with 15.5 points per game.

Dibba started his career at Chicago State in 2021-22 and played five games for the Cougars before transferring to Abilene Christian for the past two seasons.

Dibba joins guards Drew Steffe, Damien Mayo Jr., Davion Sykes, and Tyler Bey as well as forwards Jaheem Webber, Rolyns Aligbe, and Jorge Moreno in the recruiting cycle.

There are also three holdovers from the Bryan Mullins era in Kennard Davis, Jarrett Hensley and Sheridan Sharp.
