The 2025 Saluki Hall of Fame Class

The 7-member 2025 Saluki Athletics Hall of Fame class is a mix of recent student-athletes and some from the more distant past.

Headlining the class is current NFL player Jeremy Chinn, who starred for Southern from 2016 to 2019. He was a consensus All-American his senior season.

Another former football star, Fabray Collins, is going in. Collins was a member of the Salukis' 1983 national championship team.

Softball player Shay Harre gets the nod. Harre was a three-time All-MVC selection and two-time Academic All-American during her time in Carbondale from 2014 to 2017.

Another recent softball standout, Brianna Jones, goes after being named a four-time First-Team All-MVC selection and two-time All-Region pick from 2016 to 2019.

Men's golf has a representative in Peyton Wilhoit, who was the first four-time All-Conference selection in program history and led the team to the first two MVC Championships and the first NCAA Regional appearances in school history. He performed on the links from 2015 to 2019.

Longtime men's basketball assistant coach Rodney Watson enters the hall after 21 seasons on the Saluki bench. 15 times during that span the Dawgs reached either the NCAA or NIT tournaments.

And the men's and women's gymnastics teams, which won a remarkable combined 10 national championships during a span of 11 seasons from 1964-74.
