Saluki running back Javon Williams Jr. has announced he will enter the 2023 NFL Draft, ending his career at SIU after five seasons.

The Centralia native arrived on campus in 2018 and played 49-career games as a multi-purpose running back, receiver, Wildcat quarterback and return specialist.

The unique talent accounted for 50 touchdowns as a rusher, receiver and passer.

Williams earned multiple All-American and All-Conference awards and helped lead the Salukis to playoff appearances in 2020 and 2021.
