The Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund has distributed an additional $4.85 million to 18 non-profit organizations across the state, marking the second round of grants since launching.
Governor J-B Pritzker says funds raised will be disbursed to non-profit organizations across the state serving individuals, families and communities hit hardest by the COVID-19 crisis.
"These are organizations that are truly carrying their communities through this pandemic. I'm so very grateful for their partnership."
The second round grant recipients in southern Illinois are Family Counseling Center, Shawnee Health Service, the SIU Foundation and The Poshard Foundation for Abused Children.
