The Illinois Manufacturers’ Association has launched the fourth annual “Makers Madness” contest. The contest is a bracket-style tournament that allows the public to decide which product will earn the 2023 title of The Coolest Thing Made in Illinois and join the 2022 title winner, the all-electric R1T truck by Rivian, which is manufactured in Normal, Illinois.
The competition will showcase Illinois made products and celebrate the incredible work of manufacturers across Illinois. Nominations begin today, the first of four voting rounds begins February 21st and the winner will be announced on March 29th.
