The Illinois Review reports that former Governor Rod Blagojevich posted a statement on X urging President-elect Donald Trump to sue current Governor JB Pritzker for defamation.

Blagojevich said that Pritzker referred to the president-elect as quote, "an adjudicated rapist," during a June interview with MSNBC.

The former governor continued that Pritzker later took to X, using the term once more along with referring to Trump as "racist."

Blagojevich later posted, "Now that Trump successfully won his defamation case against ABC calling him a 'rapist,' when will he sue Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker for repeatedly lying and calling him the same thing?"

Blagojevich's statement references ABC News' agreement to contribute $15 million to Trump's presidential fund.

The contribution is part of a settlement for a defamation lawsuit against the network filed by the president-elect and his team.
