Methamphetamine

Initially, agents recovered 79 grams of meth, 24 fentanyl capsules and two scales in a traffic stop of Jackie Scanlan’s vehicle.

The five were sentenced to federal prison for distributing cocaine, meth or fentanyl in southern Illinois.

The eight people arrested range in age from 32 to 49 and are from Mt. Vernon, Centralia and Bluford.

A co-defendant received a 4-year prison sentence.

All three were arrested on various drug-related charges.

Mitra Tyson is being held at the Massac County Jail.
