Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois and Contour Airlines will announce its new service agreement Tuesday.
The formal announcement includes details that were released earlier this year - that the carrier will provide daily flights to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.
Veterans Airport board members selected Contour over two other proposals after the airport's current provider - Cape Air - requested a re-bidding with one year left in its contract.
The new service is expected to start this summer, with Cape Air finishing out the terms of the contract in the next couple of months.
