A cold front will bring the likelihood of severe weather into the region through Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Strong tornadoes are possible as well as significant damaging wind.
The National Weather Service in Paducah says while the risk of a tornado at any one spot is always low, it will be prudent to have a plan and a way to quickly access adequate shelter as this activity moves in.
Forecasters say react quickly to warnings. The average time between a warning and tornado development on events like this can be as low as 5 to 10 minutes.
