A Day of Fun for Cancer Patients, Caregivers, and Families is being held in Metropolis on September 23rd. The Cancer Warriors Walk of Hope is not a fundraising event, but an opportunity for every family to enjoy the park’s walking path where they can play games, enjoy bounce houses, face painting, a balloon artist, yoga, music, and more. Admission is free to the public. The walking path is paved and easily accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.
The event is 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dorothy Miller Park; located next to Harrah’s Casino.
