Carbondale Main Street will celebrate the 10th annual CarbondALE Brew Fest next month. This long-running festival is a partnership between Carbondale Main Street and the Fermentation Sciences Institute at SIU. The event highlights craft beer that is produced in the Southern Illinois region.
Friday, May 2nd will offer free activities and live music from 4 to 7pm while Saturday, May 3rd is a ticketed event running from Noon to 5pm.
The festival will bring live music, food and of course plenty of craft beer to The Carbondale Town Square Pavilion. Local home brewers will also be on hand to offer samples of their crafted beers.
Proceeds from CarbondALE Brew Fest support the programs and services of Carbondale
Main Street and FSI at SIU. The Fermentation Science Institute supports student activities,
community outreach and fermentation related to economic development and tourism.
Carbondale Main Street is a nationally affiliated Main Street program that follows the FourPoint Approach to downtown revitalization.
