The 13th For Kids’ Sake International Superhero 5K Run/Walk is back on Saturday, September 20 at 9 a.m. in Turley Park, Carbondale.
This hybrid fundraiser supports children in Southern Illinois, Bangladesh, and The Gambia. Participants can run or walk on a certified, chip-timed course in person or join virtually from anywhere.
The event features vendors, a live DJ, and awards for fastest runners, top fundraisers, and best superhero costumes. Registration costs $25 for adults and $15 for kids 17 and under, with t-shirts guaranteed for signups by September 4.
