Carbondale Middle School’s summer Band Camp closed the season with all expenses paid, thanks to contributions from the community. Confluence Books raised just over $400 through its Buck-a-Book sales at the Carbondale Farmers Market, with additional tips collected during a live performance by campers Audrey Ziegler on drums and Colman Robertson on saxophone. The funds were delivered on August 8, the day of the camp’s final performance.
