Human remains found Wednesday afternoon in Benton are believed to be that of a missing Franklin County man.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Department reports the remains are believed to be those of 34-year-old Joshua Brock, who was reported missing last fall.
The Missing Persons Awareness Network reported Brock left his residence in Orient on a bicycle on October 9 and was later seen at the Dollar General Store on the west side of West Frankfort.
An autopsy is being scheduled.
